Smoking is not permitted in the hospital.

 

To manage the reality of patients, families, visitors and staff who do smoke and ensure compliance with the Smoke Free Ontario Act, we have two designated areas (one at the rear of the hospital and one at the front of the hospital, on the "island" in the parking lot away from the entrances).

 

These two designated areas are 9 meters away from the entrances to the hospital which meets the requirements of the Act.
