Visiting Hours

Please keep to two (2) visitors per patient during visiting hours.

General Visiting Hours.
2:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Visiting Hours For Mental Health Unit.
4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
9:00 am to 8:00 pm, weekends and holidays.

Visiting Hours For Intensive Care Unit.
11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
The ICU is closed for a rest period from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Please check with the ICU staff before you enter the unit.

Visiting Hours For The Emergency Department.
10:00 am to 8:00 pm ("admitted" patient visiting hours)
Please keep to one (1) visitor per patient.  
If you are in the Emergency Department for an ICU admission, you may receive visits from immediately family, as your condition permits.
Please decide on a contact person to call the hospital outside of visiting hours. The contact person can then relay information to other family members and friends. 

Visitors For Maternal And Child.
Combined Care.
2:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Partners, grandparents and siblings of a baby may visit at any time during the day and evening.

Labour and delivery
The partner and one additional visitor may visit.

Paediatrics
11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Parents or legal guardians of paediatric/youth patients may visit at all times and stay with their child.

Please remember: Handwashing is the best way to stay healthy and to prevent the spread of infection. Wash your hands when you enter and leave the hospital or patient care areas in the hospital.
